Looking for a link or info on to how to do small repair.
Stand snapped and scooter fell over and has left a crack at top of legshields. When I had a look it is body filler that has cracked not the metal. Just want to do quick repair then hide it with a sticker. Till I can get scoot sprayed.
Looking for info on procedure. Do I spray it with primer then fill it or fill then sand them prime. And what grades of sandpaper etc. To use.
Cheers bruce

Pics would help, but to be brief :
Grind out the cracks in the filler ( otherwise you will get water ingress and then rust )
Skim with filler
Flat level with anything from P120 up.
Prime
Colour coat.
It won't look the best, but it will stop it getting any worse until you paint it properly.

All good advice but I would finish your sanding with increasingly finer grit down to 800 before priming. Maybe doesn't matter too much though if you're putting a sticker over it.GBCS wrote:Pics would help, but to be brief :
