Air brush kit

Anyone got any recommendations for a airbrush kit and compressor for a beginner cheers

When it comes to airbrushes, you cannot go wrong with an Iwata :

The eclipse is a double action airbrush. don't be tempted to go for a cheaper single action model.

As far as compressors go, you really need one with an air receiver ( tank ). The cheaper diaphragm compressors without a receiver tend to deliver "pulsating" air which you will be fighting from day one.

As a follow on from the last post, anyone in to airbrushing may wonder about the level of work you can out of the 0.5mm nozzle on the eclipse ( pretty big for an airbrush ).

The following images were done by Simon Murray whilst teaching portraits one one of his courses, using a bog standard eclipse, and auto air parts straight from the bottle.

Wow that's stunning look like bw photos! I'll be happy if I could do the odd skull :lol:
