Cracking...

Anything related to paint & bodywork issues on scooters....

Apologies if i have asked this before but its my age... :oops: .....got some cracking on my paintwork.. :cry: ....is there anytning i can do to stop it getting worse.... :?

Take the sprint rack off i would say as its stressing the paint/filler where its tightened up around the screw holes.

I think your right but I find a rack quite useful, was wondering if there was some sort of polish or glue that would help...

Aching and hangover (age thing!), from dancing to Semi Skinned last night. Completely pi**ed off watching Luton Town, but other than that............... :)

Looks as though the undercoat has cracked along with the lacquer. If you take the rack off you might be able to sand it and get some dolphin glaze or similar in there, if water has got in however you may just be sealing in future and worse agg.

your lucky its a flat colour but you wont know how easy or hard it is to repair until you take off the bars..... :o

I agree with Sid, not a lot hoy can do other than sand it back and repaint localised area. I suspect there's some filler in there which has cracked.

i suspect that the frame is cracked.
