Take the sprint rack off i would say as its stressing the paint/filler where its tightened up around the screw holes.Timbo wrote:Apologies if i have asked this before but its my age... .....got some cracking on my paintwork.. ....is there anytning i can do to stop it getting worse....

Looks as though the undercoat has cracked along with the lacquer. If you take the rack off you might be able to sand it and get some dolphin glaze or similar in there, if water has got in however you may just be sealing in future and worse agg.
your lucky its a flat colour but you wont know how easy or hard it is to repair until you take off the bars.....
