Rt195 setup

Hi
I am currently upgrading my lambretta series 3
Fitting:-
Rr195 kit
Gori exhaust/Scootopia 42mm clubman
25 dellorto
Bgm 120 AC stator

Do you have any ball park setups
ie:-
Gaskets for kit ( Base )
Carb setup ( jetting needle etc )
Timing
And any other help would be appreciated

timing 17degrees ,jetting all depends on where you live an altitude .i live in a warm climate and where a 125 jet was recomended i ended up with a 117 any way good luck i have had the kit for about 4 years .28 pwk ,bgm ignition ,ancillotti exhaust starts well ,pulls well sounds great

iam from london but i have been living in southern spain for the last15+years good luck with the set up it took me a little while but once you are there it is a great system

Which needle? It's the 1/8 to 1/2 throttle that are the most difficult to get right because of several things over lapping, ie, needle, atomiser and slide. Most stick with the standard 40 slide as they're not cheap to replace. Commonly used needles on the PHBL are D22, 26 & 29.

not sure on neadle, it was in the carb from new from readspead, same as slide, told them my set up and they jetted to suit, iv,e only changed the main jet when run in from a 102 to 100

with the rt 195 set the bottom edge of the transfer ports level with the crown of the piston at bdcentre depending what casing your fitting to it could be 1mm base packer or 1\2mm then check your squish with the head on you want 1.2 to 1.5 no more than 1,5
