Good Hex Keys

Anyone got any recommendations for decent hex keys?

I have a set of halfrauds 3/8 drivers but I find them a bit undersized leading to a tendency not to fit very well and with them either jammed in the screw or rounding them.

I've wrecked about four of them MB stainless screw that hold the rear hub locking plate recently.

I use Teng 3/8 drive ones and Beta T handle ones, both very good.

I have had my snap-on sets since the mid 70's and used them at work and they are still good as new, but they may be an expense for occasional use.

Kennedy are a nice compromise. Been using mine for 20 years and they're still good. I think snap on etc. are good if you're an hgv fitter but as a home tinkerer i couldn't justify the cost.

The very best ones I have used have been Unbreako brand. I got them years ago when I worked for Dunlop.

They are primarily socket head screw makers, so they know what is necessary.

Second best have been the SnapOn. The ones in sockets for 3/8" sq drive are sort of OK. The 1/4" hex ones for replaceable tip thingies are very good. And much cheaper!
