carb choice
what would be the best carb between a 28 phbh or one of the 28mil oko carbs.

Dellorto for quality, and availability of parts and jetting info........ In my opinion.

I had a bgm pwk28 on my gp.It did kick out more power at the lower rev range than the phbh but i did have to adjust float heights and drill out needle valves. If buying a new carb,id deff go for a phbh dellorto again though.Cant go wrong with them.

Agree with above. Never have to fettle with float heights on dell'ortos whereas copy PWKs are always needing this. You see plenty of copy Keihins for sale cheaply. That says it all really.

When the mods are done,the pwk is great though. very responsive but you shouldnt have to do this. The phbh can get slated at times but how many of us have used 2nd hand dellortos and said how rough they are? i have,when i invested in a new one,it was spot on and very cheap.
Thanks chaps that has made my mind up , stick with the dellys.
