the twist in the links is one of the reasons for bolting the two links together .. this would have made this apparent

My problem was that the fork spring rod was bent on one side. Fair do's to the guy doing the MOT, he took the wheel, link, spring & rod out, straightened the rod put it all back together, wheel ok, passed MOT charged an extra tenner job done
