done a bit more to the scoot, fitted the bridge piece, then onto the horncasting and front mudguard, had to trim both in order to clear the brake light switch, a bit of a pain, but i guess thats the price you pay for a custom built scooter, had to take off the headset top to solder a wire i had missed, the switched live for the fuel and temp gauges in the top of the legshield toolbox, will try to do some more tomorrow, hoping to get it running by the weekend, will get a video, im sure those micron exhausts are going to sound sweet. :mrgreen

i managed to bleed the oil pump, topped up the cooling system through the filler under the seat, fueled up and ready to go. i needed a hand to get the scoot of my workbech, so brother inlaw lent me his ramp, and my good friend andy brought two of his sons to help get it on the ground, success and no damage. it took a while to get it started as the fuel is conroled by 2 vacumn taps, after many kicks it fired up, very smokey at first, i put some premix in the tank, as the oil takes a while to get from the pump to the carbs, had to tinker with the tick-over a bit, but got it to idle in the end.i just had to have a little go down the street,i didnt give it much as it needs running in, clutch is very hard, gears even harder, ive adjusted both and had it in all 6 gears now, more improvement needed, andy took a couple of videos which he will post,

easy, its a float switch in the 2stroke oil tank, when the oil gets low the float joins the 2 connectors and the warning light comes on, i think the one i used is french, probably a peugeot.
