the build was put on hold for a while, sold my house, moved to the girlfriends for a month, then we both moved to the current address, took a while to get the garage sorted out, elecric and bench, lathe etc, but got it sorted and the build continued, heres some more pics, as you might have worked out its powered by a yamaha 350lc engine, its got an o ringed head, 68mm pistons, welded crank, new bearings and gaskets, new clutch, high capacity waterpump, reconditioned oil pump, hoping it will be nice and reliable

Having been at Steve's house, and watched this going together, I have to say the build quality is amazing.
Steve has been a mate since the mid eighties, so when he asked if I could give him a hand to paint his project, I was happy to help, although it was the first Glowble job I have done since about 1990.
Obviously heavily influenced by Steve's favourite street racers.

Steve's son Adam did the body prep and priming, so when we got it to my booth we were ready to go.

Base coat was silver glowble, then candy apple red, indigo blue candy, and gold candy. All paints were House of Kolor, all graphics airbrushed on.

We are both pretty happy with how it came out, not a bad attempt for a couple of amateurs

Truly spectacular, I'd love to see it in the sunshine.
Hope you are both very proud of the results.
