After spending a couple hours reposting all my images via flickr, hopefully everything is back up after the debacle with Photobucket. Finger's crossed that we won't have to go through that again!

Anyways, took a few trips 'round the block with the A/F Meter installed and it seems to be reading quite accurately. Looks like we're a little lean in a few spots, so it's time to bust out the jet kit and start tunin'.

Been trying to shoot some decent video, but what I end up with is pure crap so I'm working through that but promise to have something up shortly.

Hope to make the North Vs. South ride this weekend...

Sorry for the jump, tried to embed the video but couldn't figure it out...

It's 'run in' as much as it's going to get before I start thrashing on it. Too many of you hot on my heels! Next step, EFI!

Holty, how's yours coming along?

Thanks Adam! It's fun as well!

Made the trip up to Malibu for the North Vs South campout last weekend. Great ride through the Malibu canyons and was an awesome opportunity to put the bike through its paces.

The bike performed flawlessly, which was a great surprise as I haven't had much of a chance to shake the thing down otherwise. Tried to put it through the motions as much as possible to see if I could locate any weak links, but aside from a pipe bolt backing out that's been an existing problem, my to-do list for this project is very short. Time to ride!

Thanks to Diego and all the Black Sheep!

Got a dyno date penciled in for Tuesday and will be spending the next day or so in preparation. Should be interesting to see what it makes. I know there are a few things I'm a bit pessimistic about, so it should be intriguing to see if those things have any effect on the final numbers. Let's just hope it stays together! I'll be happy with that, regardless of the result!

Who wants to throw around some numbers as a guess? The stock 583cc Skidoo engine makes a tick over 100hp, so if we can get anywhere near half that, we're doing REALLY good given that engine is tuned from the factory to make those numbers and my bike was tuned from my shed to barely run.

I'm thinking anything over 30hp / 25 lbft would be a success...

I'll post our results here.

Do you know the reason for the breakdown?

That looks like a decent dyno setup, who/where is it?
