My original one is damaged on one corner, deep scuff. Too deep to be polished out. Can damage to these be filled and rechromed ? Remade Sx type surrounds I,m told are poor fitment compared with original. Anyone had repair done ? Cheers

I'm hardly an expert, but would it be possible to braze it perhaps? Unless there might be issues with the rim becoming distorted. The metal can be a bit iffy.
