Hi all, I'm in Australia and I'm rebuilding a lambretta for the 1st time.
I came back for this bike after buying an ld 150 1956 from the same owner.
It reminded me of K9 from Dr Who.
The idea is to allow the swelling in my head to dissipate from reading the piles of information about Lambrettas and start putting it back together.after dismembering K9 last year. But that may take some time lol.
It's a good example, I think. having not seen another ,lol.
The bad is the top bit is missing where the speedo sits. And the carb is not original 22 it's an 18 .
The casing has been welded , but it looks OK. I pulled the motor down last week all Italian. stamped innocenti.
Except the kick starter arm. But after wading into the shallows of MBD'S knowledge pool found out that they are the preferred. Lucky. piston is 2nd oversize 57.2mm thinking of fitting a 185 piston but dunno how much is involved.
