You can buy a tool especially for this job for about £20 which works first time every time if you use it right. Also it will be in demand from your mates as know one ever seems to have one even though they are easy to get hold of. Failing that a small nail and a couple of hammers and four hands will do the trick. There are potential pitfalls to this method which I'm sure you van imagine.....

Yeah loads do them scootergeek.co.uk do them for £30 but you can shop around for cheaper. Just type into google

This guy is selling chrome plated brass ones. I don't know if he's doing Lambretta ones too.
