Stripped one side of the threaded engine bolt on a lambretta. One that hasn't moved for 30 years. The nut was cracked so I tried a new bolt on it and it stripped the thread off.

Soaking in a full can of plus gas for nearly 24 hours, my only hope!

Turns out a bigger hammer is just the tool for the job. Moved after just a few blows. Thanks very much for your advice
