Just wondering about getting my engine restored professionally, what sort of ball park price do you think? Bearing in mind it is seized and who would you recommend? Cheers

I'd have thought an opening question would be "how much is labour to strip and re-build an engine?" As for what parts you may need on a seized engine......

As a rough guide for labour £300 would be a starting point.

I'm in leeds. Thanks, I'm not sure what parts will need replacing so couldn't say what parts I would need so yeah after a labour cost. Any recommendations?

Give Dan or Sean a ring @ Scooteretica........

I suspect most places will be busy though as the "season" starts pretty soon.........

You'll be spoilt for choice in that neck of the woods.

Off the top of my head you'll have Chiselspeed in Leeds, Madspeed in Bradford, the SE lads in Ripon and I dare say many more. You'd need to phone around to see about workloads etc. but as I said no shortage down there and if they can't fit you in then they may be able to give you recommendations of where else to go.
