Does a TV200 have an IGM stamp on the frame number?

it shouldn't have as TV200 was made for "foreign markets" ( i.e. not sold in Italy)

The only IGM'd TV200's I've seen are fakes where the person has simply restamped/ cut in the "TV200" number and omitted to obliterate the existing IGM number........

If you are going to fake it at least do it properly :D

Of the 2 non-chrome ring TV200's I've had my hands on in the US, neither had IGM numbers and both were AC non-battery bikes (but had battery stators and SX type hardware in the headset).

no difference- there should be no IGM number.

As an aside, there are now a lot of non chrome ring TV200's about which is rather surprising as the introduction of the "non chrome ring" models was just prior to TV200's demise............. :o

Also- a non chrome ring LI125S is a LOT cheaper to buy than a TV200............................ :D

And yes, I know the TV200 used in the original Work Shop Manual was coincidentally a non chrome ring model.

A TV without a battery tray would sound alarm bells for me (unless there was a reason for cutting it off), let alone the bodged wiring to fit a battery stator to it.

just to clarify- if Innocenti produced a model for Italy AND export it had an IGM number. If it was soley for export (as per TV200) then it did not have one.
