crikey! probably not what you want to hear but i would junk that, how bad must it have been before the repairs.unless you are a skilled welder/fabricator or have a good mate who is the costs are going to be phenominal, and would have to be a super rare or historical machine to justify outlay. good luck if you decide to proceed. :(

Was this bought of eBay from the company in Portsmouth. I have seen there scooters and the price always looks to good to be true.

Yes, I did get it from him, and it has cost me a lot of money already, but giving up now would cost me more, so I have sourced a new frame which should arrive tomorrow from Denmark, so I'm crossing my fingers this one will be better!

That looks stunning, but is it the same rotten frame this thread started with or the replacement :? If it's the original, then that is fantastic work.

it is the side panels, mudguard and headset of frame 1 and the frame of the danish frame. which was in quite a bad state as well
