:oops: Er how do you refit a speedo oil seal in the hub back plate, got the old one out (grease on brake shoes)from behind the lip, completely mullered the new one trying to fit it with the forks in, took the forks out and removed the back plate, still scoobied?, your help Gents :)

Maybe chuck the seal in hot water?

I know no one gives a s***, but anyway, slept on it, had a look this am, lip that seal was behind might come out? Applied heat, pinged out with screwdriver,part not shown on any info i could find, haynes etc..so another seal :oops: and off we go again. PXs are ace!

this will sound like no help but they normal fit in very easy with a bit a grease. When i do them i push them in with fingers and with a soft wood dolly tap round to get it level - i`ve never had an issue with them

mind there are 2 types - early and efl but not sure what the size difference is - think early maybe bigger
