As you can see its all there excluding the bridge piece, head cowling & all the badges.....it would appear someone has painted it (badly) and it never made it back on the road.
My aim is to strip and rebuild engine forks hub , a paint job and powder coat (not tackling the painting) think i may chrome the zaust and the chaincase?
It needs the locks renewed, I have a key and the barrels, they do appear to be fecked so they will need renewed.
Do I buy these packs where you get all the rubbers stainless fixings floor runners etc or is it best to buy these things in seperate? If so with the pack whos best ?
what does ....say a two colour paint job cost....a good one of course?
Id imagine the powder coating to be £150..ish.....no idea what chrome costs i.e zuast and chaincase.
you sexpert opinions are most welcome.......feel free to have a stab at all costs :freak:
regards scott
virgin restorer......in need of advice!

any cost idea that any one may give you is quite possibly irrelevent ....cos you will change you mind or find the motor needs more that you expected and so on ...but
if you set your self a buget for paint and powder coat at say £1000 (depends on if 2k or celly ,metalic etc)
500 for engine /bearings/cables and all the little bits that soon add up
300 for chrome (min)
you will stuggle to keep below 2 grand
it all depends on how much you do your self
