As always I couldn't keep it standard for long. The engine got swapped in to a LI150 bike that I sold off. Instead I took my SIL GP200 engine and started to rebuild it by changing all worn parts and upgrading cylinder and crank for the Granturismo ones. See the progress here:

I got this engine 2007 all new, riden it for years and miles without ever opening up the inside. 2013 I noticed a misaligned crank webs and decided to rebuild it. Since i've done one original restoration it was time for a upgraded one!

You would be well advised to change the Indian type bolt and washer on the end of the spring/spring cap cush drive for a one peice bolt with a shouldered washer. The Indian type tends to concave the washer when tight and the spring cap can come loose and damage the engine cover.

Hi, I've heard of this. Didn't have spare available so it went back in. Still looked good. It's been fine in this SIL engine since 2006. Should hold up. If I'll change the front sprocket I'll change it!
