Post editing time too short

Is there a good reason why this site doesn't allow members to edit their posts in the first few minutes after posting ?

I have just posted and when I tried to correct something 15 seconds later I got the message 'you can no longer edit this post !' ???

I can understand the reasoning behind restricting editing to say 1 minute or even 30 seconds but less than 10 seconds seems slightly absurd to me and extremely frustrating. It means that if later you wish to correct a technical error or something you have posted that is unintentionaly incorrect or misleading or add a image etc you have to post a fresh post which can be several posts down the thread .

Used to be set to 1 min, I’ll check settings tomorrow to see if/what has changed and update accordingly...

Hi. it is still not possible to edit a post even 5 seconds after posting ???
Is it possible to give us 30 seconds or a minute so that we can add after thoughts or correct typos etc

its back to just a few seconds for editing again?

Is there any chance it could be increased to 1x minute so that we have a chance to correct errors check spelling add an image or delete something etc . Don't mean to cause anyone work but this lack of editing time is very frustrating
