Do these tanks come pre-sealed inside?

Hi no we don't seal the tanks from new. As long as they are used straight away or stored with a coating of petrol/2stroke oil they don't need it.

Tim not sure why you didn't get any brackets. Get in touch and I'll send you some.

What a silly question.

Of course he does: chip oil complete with scratchings too. :bigsm:

Lovely tank: I never even noticed the individual serial number until I was spraying it!

Hi Al,
long shot now, I know, but,
can you make me the 'dream tank'?
I need one with a big toolbox,
and a long left side carb (Rapido) cut out so that I will be able to use a breath sweet filter in vertical direction with a PHBH.
This probably means that the cutout will leave all the left side empty.

The capacity will be less,
but I will have a decent toolbox space plus the breath sweet filter.

I have tried to use the filter in horizontal direction without success.

If you can,
let me know,
so that I'll start saving money.

Alan did me a tank with a toolbox and the left hand cutout, not sure how many litres it holds possibly 12L but i never have a problem and the toolbox is big enough for a fold up waterproof jacket, measuring jug and a half litre of oil
plus crap

TS1 and PX stay in the garage (future barn finds) out on the GTS 300 when I go out on a scooter.
I know I’ll get there and back
