Separating and assembling pressed cranks can be a bit of a mission if you don’t have good tooling. With the development of the new cranks I have also made a number of these press tools which can separate and assembly pressed cranks. Key to the design is eccentric posts that can be rotated around to contact the periphery of the crank web (this also accommodates webs of different diameters). When the posts are tightened they serve to align both webs to each other during the pressing process. This greatly reduces the amount of truing effort. I made 5, just one left at the moment but if there is enough interest I can make another 5. If you need one contact me over pm they are £250 each inc VAT.

If I had a press then I would be buying one in a heartbeat!
