Has anyone used the new Pinasco split tubeless wheel rims. Are they any good and can you fit the tyre yourself or do you need to take them to a garage.

Apologies for digging up an old thread.

Is anyone using Pinasco rims, and used the supplied valves?

I'm guessing that nobody replied then and it might not be much different now...

Scootering had a follow up on them couple of months back, seemed to report no issues.

I'm using a set on the back of my smallframe...
not sure how many miles I've done 6 or 700...maybe more
tyre fitted easily and the air stays in there with the supplied valve

It's possibly my 1970 hubs are a touch different to anyone else's then. Supplied valve wont fit under the hub.

No response from Pinasco at all. DS solution from SCK is to grind a bit of the hub away. Pity it doesn't say this on their website.. or I'd have done that before getting the hubs powdercoated.

Apologies for the big photos.. they weren't supposed to be this big.

I know its not the answer, my powder shop guy says use nail polish on any chipped powder coat, the sooner the better.

I think the late coop hubs are a bit different, and there's a big gap.
