heres a solution to the old problem of the big gap between cylinder/head cowlings
On performance engines running long stroke cranks or long rods we use packing plates which spaces the cowlings and leaves the air escaping instead of cooling the top end this also looks untidy and forces bending of your freshly painted or chromed/stainless cowlings or redrilling or modification
with this alloy gap filling plate it makes for an improved fit
price is £15 plus p+p

Nice looking part and certainly worth the money, rather than chain drilling and grinding as I've done before.

Did I miss it.... how thick are they?

had done at 5mm as found it covers almost all the combo,s ,but can call off any size required ,done the holes a little over size too to allow slight mismatches on case/cowling centres

One approx 10 mm thick one will be handy for anyone wanting to fit something like a casa kit to a series two instead of the shorter barrell that might be orig fitted, but wants to retain orig head cowling (maybe for a rusto etc). It would have saved me a lot of time with a drill and file!
