I think a few Dealers stock them as well , i know Chiggy does at Lambretta Upgrades

Do you have to drill underneath the scooter, therefore scoot has to be on its side or upside down......!

No, you can lay the piece on the top of the strut and mark out the fixing holes and drill away from the top then fix the piece on the underside, simples
