This cylinder has several unique features, the fin layout is designed to root as many fins directly into the combustion chamber area. The idea behind this is that the themal path from the hottest part of the cylinder head to the coolest tip of the fin is more direct and the heat transfer from the fin surface area is more effective.
The cylinder head can be machined with either big block or small block stud pattern (even 7 or 8 stud patterns can be used) and has two plug positions (central and standard). The redundant plug position is filled with a blanking plug that is threaded for temperature probes.
