I sort of answered that , I have jsut had enough of them at the moment. Cant muster enthusiasm even to ride it, which is a waste. Took it for its MOT yerterday and it is lovely to ride, but just put it in the garage and had no inclination to get back on it, which probably says something. Someone will proably end up getting a bargain, because it is for sale and whetevr it goes for thats it. On ebay at moment.

The bike looks great! I see that you are running a 30mm carb and not using a quick action throttle. What did you do to get the throttle to completely open the carb? Did you modify the pulley?

No modifications were done, I think, just used a long cable and it all worked, opens the throttle fully

As far as I know it got the following:

Best Vespa(upto Rally)

Best Vespa Streetracer

Best Vespa Ridden.

I'm not sure on the following as I had to leave the Spa to collect beer so I'm just going on what I was told :D

Best Paint

Punters Choice

Best of Show

I'm sure I'll be corrected if these are wrong.

Overall the oustanding quality of all 86 custom scooters was amazing..

The judges have some very hard decisions to make
I do not try to explain why I ride Lambrettas,
For those who understand, no explanation is necessary,
For those who don't, no explantion is possible.

 I can substantiate this as he looked like the cat that had got the cream with his 3 boxes of Tennents :D
