jason[the man] used vespa runners and rubbers but had to do quite a bit of work with them to fit right but the end result speaks for itself ,it looks like they belong thereLam46 wrote:The final outcome is spot on love it mate well done to all concerned..look forward to seeing it in the flesh at scarbrough..
Regarding the rear runner/legshields set up doing this on next project..did jason use vespa runner strips or total fab up as i can get the channels run in our tin shop to what spec i want!

I do not try to explain why I ride Lambrettas,
For those who understand, no explanation is necessary,
For those who don't, no explantion is possible.

That really is horrible news, but at least he did not have his little girl on board with him and he is ok.
Scooters can be rebuilt, as has been proved and maybe third time lucky hey?
All the best fella!

He's got the scoot back home now.
Damage is totally smashed headset, bent leggies(1 side only),scratched panel, ripped seat, exhaust trashed with studs ripped out of chaincase, bent kickstart.
Cause of accident/engine problems? as yet unknown.
As soon as I know any more it'll be on here
