Lots of gold shiny bits to add.
Part 2 - Again Some Time Last Year
Choosing The Right Color
The paint scheme will be a race paint, like the old bass ale racer gp and the Nike air racer gp
the color will be triumph speed triple green very small metal flake with a two tone gray stripe all round and race sponsors over it, faded checks all air brushed no stickers.
Part 3 - February This Year
The Headset Conversion
headset over view
headset back view, as you can see i am still using the old switch housing's
brake master mounted
clutch master mounted
it all looks very easy and straight forward but what a night mare all the
metal shaft work was odd ball sizes, putting 1 tub inside another welding
and machining it down and making a mount for the brake master too fit on too
so it did't turn with the throttle tube.
brake mount
a new throttle tube machined and a pully wheel spacer.
Part 4 - Late February This Year
Fork Conversion
twisted forks fitted so i can make the brake like upto the right size
a couple of pictures of the front hub that adi clark has done for me, it does look a lot better closer up
here is a kawasaki fuel tank i am having cut up and have the filler cap frenched into my tank.
Part 5 - March This Year
just to keep everyone up to date here are a few more pics, again not really done too much this month
to the scooter waiting for bits from fabricators, engravers and platers. This is all i seem to do is
wait, wait & wait :-/ :-/ :-/
I found some cool purple Titanium Dome Head bolt From Pro-Bolt
they do look great close up.
M5 x 20mm Fairing / Dome Head Bolt In Colored Finish (12mm Head Diameter) - TIFB520BG Ref: 8195
I have finally found some green Pro-Bolt bar end after 8 months of looking and had to buy them
and ship them in from the US, because pro-bolt have stopped doing this color, also had the
sun dance grips machined down so i can fit them
also had the fuel tank back which has had the Kawasaki filler cap put in to it.
as you can see the cold build is nearly there now just a few more small thing to add rear
brake lever, floor etc.
i have had the master cylinders & levers back engraved and chromed i will get them fitted and
take some more pictures soon.
Part 6 - Mid March This Year
Rear Brake Conversion
rear brake lever now sorted with a brembo master ready for the rear disc brake setup, also here are a couple of pictures of the start of my custom floor plates which i will be having made next week.
Part 7 - Late March This Year
Head Set
just got round to taking pictures of the headset and I must say a BIG THANK YOU
too Adi Clark & Quality Chrome 2 great guys and the quality first every time.
Before engraving & chroming
After with engraving & chroming
Part 8 - April This Year
Cold Build
I have done a bit more this week. ;D
Getting the hydrolic hoses cut to lenth
New indicators now in place and loom altered
Radiator mounted quickly so i can place the pump and make the hoses up
Starting to look like a scooter again
If I can find space under the headset I will be adding H.I.D. lights too
Part 9 - July This Year
Custom Bits
still not done much to scooter this month just got the floor plates sorted and the engraved horn cover badges from adi and had them gold plated. next job is to fit the floor and plumb the radiator in, almost there now it will soon be at the sprayers I hope.
Linea Rossa Racer is Italian for Red Line Racer
Part 10 - August This Year
I have done a little bit more work on my project this week. ;D
I had another delivery from Pro-bolt including the Moutain Derailure Bolts I will be
using as legs for the floor, and a few other bits and bobs.
before cutting & grinding
cut down and now shaped ready for the floor fitting when i can be bothered to drill the floor.
Part 11 - September This Year

hiya all my parts were done by qulity chrome in hull for the gold and chrome, and adi clark for all my engaving. I have used midas touch once but not again I had a few bits golded and when they came back they were crap and you could see though it, it was that thin so I sent them off to qulity chrome to be redone
