Very nice work, just my type of resto. This old Vespa has earned every bit of its patina. Any thoughts on the seat you're going to use ?

Cheers Garry - and yes the workmate served well as a makeshift bench. I just fixed the frame to it through the stand bolt holes.

Not thought about a seat yet, I may just re-cover the original seat base for now.

Stole some more garage time over the weekend & I managed to get it all buttoned up... cables connected - lights, switches, horn & speedo wired-up - brake hose connected, primed & bled - tank & fuel pump plumbed in and seat fitted.

Put some fuel in it & it fired-up 3rd kick!

Lovely. I used to hate things like this, but I've come to appreciate them now.

So much so that I'll finish one myself on Thursday night.

What motor have you got in.?
