I'm up to 5 scooters now. The green and black scooter is a 65 s3 Tv 175. Has a 190 DeanSpeed kit in it, as the previous owner put a hole in the head. I just got it for 2000 $ Canadian. The white Li150 is a 1963 and I got that for free. It was a wreck and was this past winters restoration project. The Ochre Jet200 is completely stock. I got it along with the TV175, also for 2,000$. The Orange Vespa is a Rally 200, but I have it painted and badged as a Rally 180. Shoot me, but I just like the paint colour and older style badging a lot more.

The blue and white lambretta is an early Eibar Jet 200. It had 4,000 miles on it when I got it, and had just been freshly painted. I think I paid 3,500$ for it. Its not running a Grand Tourismo kit, I was the first person in Canada with one.

I'm not sure which one I will start on, the TV or the Ochre Jet. Both are fine, but I wont trust them until I rebuild the engine myself and go over all of it.

For some reason I dont understand I seem to attract scooters. I've turned down a fair few as I cant own them all, and pass along the deals to my club mates (about 150 now in our club).

Having fun in Toronto.

it seems that we are entering a period where the guys who were into it in the 80's, have stopped riding, but hung onto their machines, are starting to sell them off. A TV200 and Silver Special just showed up for sale (a few hours away). But its not a steal, 11,000 US$ for the pair. Over here that is pricy. But you could sell the Special and its getting a TV200 relatively cheaply. The biggest issue we have is Americans, as were are only a 2 hr drive from the boarder and their $ is worth 25-30% more than ours. If anything doesnt get sold quickly it goes south.
