New project.

New project. A nice straight Indian GP. All the panel work is just a bit rusty with no nasty rot or dents. Lots of Italian parts on it so thinking it's an early one? I'm going to go for a standard type restoration with a GT186 top end. More pictures to follow as I progress. Cheers all Pete.

Thanks for that Adam. I've never really bothered about keeping any scooters I've built original, but I'd like to with this one. Anymore info would be gratefully received. Im not that good at finding where to search for model details, markets etc.

There is another SIL flyer that shows a girl with the same (or similar) spec GP in the same colour. I couldn't see that in the quick search that I did but it provides some more nice images of the original spec.

I really must make more of an effort to pick up one of the lady's footrest rear bars at some stage. I've seen them cheap as chips at parts fairs (off imports) but never bothered to pick one up. Another thing on the list then ;)

The joy of Indian :)
