i fitted a mugello 225 to this , it has a gori pipe a 30mil phbh and a lightened ducati (af ) flywheel, running well but im not a fan of the lightened flywheels so ill change that , and the 30 mil is a bit overkill on a mugello,

Do LD legshields fit on a series 2 or 3 frame. I have an LD frame and legshields and am contemplating fitting a series 3 engine. Am I better welding in a frame section to an ld or using a series 3 frame?

LD legshields wont fit perfectly, theres a gap of about 1 1/2" between them thats visible, most ive seen have been ld frame with ld legshields horncover etc with series 3 engine mount section welded in under the panels,,, mine is a gp frame with the ld rear section welded on , ld horncover took a lot of grinding to fit and the front forks are late indian gp with disc brake , :D

Agree, excellent looking scooter.

Why do Lambretta's look so much better with the mudguard attached to the forks.
