Is there a pump from the gas tank?
Just wondering how the gas is fed: normally gravity fed so couldn't see how it now worked?

Also: although I realise some large frame coops (I was a bit of a PX anorak once!) have a spare wheel there how bigs the new tank -looks like 6-7litres (hence 6-7 kilos?) is it not more unbalanced than normal?

Great engineering though, I love great engineering!

I run a mikuni pump and there is also a header tank under the seat, so the main tank feeds the header tank and the header tank is gravity feed to the carb, i have not had time to fill up with water yet to test, but I'm hoping 8 to 10 lts, With the engine on one side and the tank on the other i'm hoping it should be a nice ride.

Your making a very nice job of the whole scoot , what's your thoughts on the effect of ethanol on the fiberglass though ?
When i was young my Mom said "if you haven't got anything nice to say, say nothing at all " ..................... and people wonder why I'm quiet around them !

You should be ok if you put a decent tank sealer in the tank first.

I think you would be better of, safe than sorry and a buggered tank.

I think it's only Gul putting it in the petrol, here. Fairly sure BP aren't.
