What colour is the frame ? Looks pale blue in first photo then grey or white in others ??

As was said in previous post . cant believe no one knocked about that. or nicked it . must of been out of sight.

Its a pale green. I couldn't make up my mind on colour so I got some tester pots out of B&Q mixed em around until I got something I liked, brushed it on a spare horn cast I had, sprayed it over with lacquer and then the guy who painted it got it matched. I like the result and I doubt I'll see the same colour anywhere?

Looking really good.
Just a question about the three hole engine mounts- I was lead to believe these are mounted with the bottom hole at 6 o'clock? Sure I read that somewhere?

Hmmmm.. I should have come back to this sooner. Occupied with other things.
From what I read you're right. Camlam put these in for me!

How much of a problem is this. On the flywheel side I would say the middle hole is putting slightly higher than straight ahead. On the other side the middle hole is pointing straight forward.

Did I notice your fork tube bump stop had broken off when fitting the forks.

I have recently stripped my s2. The tube stop fell out. I had to weld it back on.

I don't think you can pass an MOT without a bump stop. Have you rewelded it?

Cheers Robbie -- It's fixed but I didn't want to weld because it had all been painted. I fixed it in place with JB weld, then drilled and tapped it. Put a couple of bolts in then remove as much metal as I could - then touched up. It looked Ok, but is now hidden anyway. So all good.

Ah that's good.
The scooter looks fantastic.
Some hard work and effort gone into it.
I have a big pile of stripped down s2 eibar. :)
Am now working on doing a kind of restoration. If it turns out half as good as yours I will be happy :)
