but on compression it must pull or better be pulled easy and on rebound it must pull hard or at least harder.

It depends what he is interested in swapping it for. If it's an LI or a special bite his hand off. If it's an Italian 175 probably. An SX200 or TV200 probably not.
Is it a winter tv 175 or an earlier tv?rocho68 wrote:what is the value of a tv 175 spanish eilbar as ive been offered a swap but dont no the value ?
It might help if you nknow if the frame / engine numbers match, with earlier regular eibar tv175s usually possessing non matching numbers and the typical s2 round headlight.
If its an early tv, check its got some of its key original features like the round Lambretta Locomociones 120 km speedo and fores headlamp glass etc
If its the later winter, with matching numbers, check the veglia bressel 120km speedo and the SX type headset top / bottom /lens / rim etc are all present etc
All should have an el tigre or industrias Garbi seat, Italian campagnolo disc brakes, front dampers, plus wider airboxes, bigger carbs as per Italian tv models.
Of course they are much much rarer than the Innocenti item, with the spread of known frames currently registered presently hinting approx 1000 of the early items and 800 of the winters ever made. Obviously no where near this figure have survived the ensuing half century since they were made.
Worth as much as the Innocenti model?
im told there was only 750 made of the model being offered , it has series 2 bodywork and headset and damper forks and disc ?soullad wrote:Is it a winter tv 175 or an earlier tv?rocho68 wrote:what is the value of a tv 175 spanish eilbar as ive been offered a swap but dont no the value ?

Unfortunately as for alot of output from the Eibar factory, no-one knows for sure how many were made, and as the years go by and previously unregistered models become known .. the goalposts keep changing. I recently had a chat with Ant at Buzzsolo about exactly your question and the last tv resto project he had in went for approx 2500 and the last winter 175 I saw on Perrys (Wildcat) site was listed at the same price too .....rocho68 wrote:im told there was only 750 made of the model being offered , it has series 2 bodywork and headset and damper forks and disc ?soullad wrote:Is it a winter tv 175 or an earlier tv?rocho68 wrote:what is the value of a tv 175 spanish eilbar as ive been offered a swap but dont no the value ?

It would be nice if you could find out the frame / engine numbers thou, at least the first 3 or 4 .. who knows you may just have one of those goalpost changing scoots ? ? ?
