Nice scooters mate - good work

Did you used to (or still do) own a B&B on the IOW, IIRC I remember seeing one of the scooters on a web site - was it yours?

Edit - sorry just seen your Hellooo post. Welcome BTW, I'm new around here too.

The Capris have been on a few sites and in Scootering...I've re-built 6 now and sold on 5 of them. The Red and cream one is around the dorset area. They are only really good for a bit of fun with a top wack of 45, but 100MPG, but weigh about half what a standard Lammie weighs. I but them for at most a couple of hundred and fixed up with an MOT sell for about £800, so I make about £1....but months of fun. 20,000 Capris where imported into Britain, so there must be loads of rusting hulks out there somewhere.

As it happens its very easy to crowbar a fairly decent sized engine into (Scootering put a Kawazaki 550 engine in one) the frame, especially a standard Garelli one.

You never know...I'll check out the IOW site for details. I need to burn off some of that 'wintering' oil :D :D
