Re: clutch side bearing

Youll get some movement on the flywheel as the bearing wears BUT excessive wear can actually damage the drive side seal and even push it out of the cases allowing to spin on the crank thus sucking all your gearbox oil blah blah !! What sort of milage has it done ?? Is it smokier than usual ? ( hard ...

Re: Polossi 220?

Re: Polossi 220?

Have you run yours on a dyno many times? A big lad doing a true 85mph indicated on a GPS with a full frame PX you need a lot more than 26 bhp. I think yours might be way more powerful than you think. Or you have the torque of a tractor! :D Whats your set up exactly? Port timing durations, compressi...

Use a degree wheel to mark TDC, 18 degrees forward from the original timing mark on the cover. Then Check t...

Re: Polossi 220?

Yes, I am really chuffed with it so far :) For yours I can only assume you mean 85mph on the Vespa speedo! Before I got a SIP speedo and even before the final port job, flat out my original Vespa speedo would indicate past the Piaggio logo at the bottom of the dial. Yet indicating 50mph, it was spo...

Re: malossi 210 and phbh 28 set up

you don't line up any marks !!! if you've got another 5mm of adjustment then its wayyyyy oooot, you should turn the stator clockwise fully BUT its wise to strobe it and adjust/elongate the slots accordingly, A mate had to do the same on his, adjusting the stator wasn't giving the correct 18 degree w...
