Re: LIS150 ignition circuit needed please

thanks Chris but there is a little more as I have finally stirred my one brain cell into action. Green from stator feeds the coil and the kill switch which is position 0 or off on the ignition switch. Green also feeds the points (via the condensor ) which is earthed. I just need to add a wire ...

Re: Which 12v Stator plate ? 64 LIS150

exhaust advice sought for LIS150

Excuse me if I am asking the obvious . Re: Which 12v Stator plate ? 64 LIS150

thank you Adam for such a detailed and informative reply. I'll hold off on doing anything for the time being until I can run and assess the existing 6v system. I am trying to read up on the subject and have found a couple of informative articles . I haven't found any articles on here yet but I haven...

Re: Which 12v Stator plate ? 64 LIS150

you're quite right Adam but I don't know enough about magnetos yet so I need to do a bit of reading so that I understand the topic better and can ask some sensible questions lol  I saw a couple of 12v Stators going really cheap and so I thought I'd bid on one and see if I could use the coils t...

Re: Which 12v Stator plate ? 64 LIS150

D Lots of options but you need to decide what you want to spend, what work you can do with the tools available, evaluation your existing system and considering if you can get around any current issues, etc. Adam well thats what I am asking advice about  I don't know what the various options a...

Re: Which 12v Stator plate ? 64 LIS150

No, you an entire kit... electronic stator, electronic flywheel (to suit your crank!), CDI, regulator, bulbs, and associated wiring/junction boxes... and ideally horn. You also need the correct tools for the job (flywheel holding tool, flywheel extractor... and strobe). You also need to be able to ...
