could it be the front sprocket cam slipping ? the cam might have a shallower rise one side, ive had the bolt come slghtly loose and suffered the same thing although i didnt realise till it came through the chaincase, but that started as a b@5t@rd to kick over and got to the stage where it would do i...

ive had probs with r (resistor) type plugs before, as the plug cap usually has a resistor in it to supress radio interference and coupled with that type of plug you get a weaker spark, i like to use unsupressed plugs and caps, the neighbours dont tho

i reckon it woul be a bit mental especially if you had some work on it to get it to about 90/100hp from its standard 70, thing is when i rode one the power kicks in a bit mental, at just over 6000rpm it goes mad, good mad tho but in a lammy frame and possibly tuned you need ya head examined

whats the point of using a powerjet carb if ya gonna blank it off ? surely it will reduce your jetting options
