Re: RT195/30mm PHBH/BGM clubman set up.
I have a new type piston (as supplied by SCK) and it still runs well. It’s done a quite a few rally’s with varying degrees of riding from fast mile munching to the Cumbrian six passes (slow speed hill climbing) and it still pretty good. It’s my scoot of choice for anything with hills and twisty’s I ...

Re: Refueling routine. It's been a long time
I use a graduated jug
Put about 2/3 of what I think I need in, then fuel and finish with the rest of the oil.
That way I always have some oil in and it’s mixed well.
If I overfill, drive gently for a few miles then top up
Or
Buy it in a fuel can then mix.

Re: How Many CC’s
Let piston diameter in mm =d
Let stroke in mm =s
CC = d x d x s x ( 11/14000) use as many decimal places as you like

Welcome Tip 1- keep as many of the original bits as possible, including screws & rubbers, remade bits are hit and miss and original bits cost. Most things can be reconditioned Tip2- Buy sticky’s book. Tip 3 - find a dealer you trust and use them, there are plenty of eBay cowboys who will rip you...

Re: Small Block Kit -Opinions
I like my RT for touring, pared with a MB exhaust, 60mm crank and 30mil carb. Pacemaker box running a 17x46, it’s as happy pooling along with standard 150’s or zipping along at 60/65. It won’t break any land speed records but it pulles my fat carcus up hills pretty well and has a nice easy power del...

Re: Cylinder shroud BGM RT 195
I had a similar issue. My head cowling wouldn’t sit properly as it fouled on the exhaust manifold and studs.
All I did was trim the cowling to let it sit down properly.
I have had this issue with nearly all aftermarket exhausts.
