If convenient go for the Norwich option. Otherwise I will say that as the crack is not load bearing and with a new cover screwed on will not effect the structural integrity of the case. The only time it happened to me I put it down to the wrong spark plug. If the hole is adjacent to the plug.

OT My Suzuki pickup has a cable clutch and it is not heavy!

Trick paint combinations query
I remember back in the day riders would chrome their side panels and then over spray to get a candy apple type of finish. Has anyone experimented with trick colour combinations or effects.

What is the length of spring when installed in a clutch and why did you feel the need to compress both to the point of being coil bound? Surely the amount of weight required to compress the spring to its operating length would be more useful in determining the strength of each spring? I know nothing...
