Re: Piston query
What was the comp ratio and ign timing? Running top clip on X7 can be a gamble unless running AV268 atomiser, which that engine/carb size probably wouldn’t handle. AV264 with an X13 on 2nd clip might have been better. Will try an X13 needle next. X7 with clip on second groove was very spluttery so ...

Piston query
Recente rebuilt an engine for a friend after he seizend his crank (SIL 200 engine). The SIL-barrel was unharmed but the piston was scrap so I ordered him a Rapido 200 piston and a 60/116 crank. Running the engine in it seized at 3/4 throttle after 500 Miles but plug colour looks good. Are the Rapido...

Re: Imola after market inlet manifold
This machined CNC inlet manifold is available from LTH in Germany, the same but cast used to be available through a guy called 'Jimmers' in the UK a couple of years ago but I don't know how or where you'd find on of those now. I have one of these on my Monza 225 which besically uses the same inlet a...

Re: Does the mb ts1 inlet manifold fit the monza?
It might fit but the Monza barrel only has three mounting holes so you might have to seal one hole up

Re: NK Road v ADS 3
I am known to take corners pretty fastish....RobD wrote:...haven't had any problems with ground clearance on bends...
Problem is also that the main chamber is too close to the main stand strut so a longer (Series2) rear shock can't be used unless you dent the exhaust.......

Re: NK Road v ADS 3
I run a Monza 225 with TMX30 and 16x46 with SX200 gearing (4.6?)and it pulled it easily in top gear and seems to rev out too.
Curently rebuilding engine but am contemplating going to 17/46 with an Li150 Gearbox (4.4?)

Re: Inlet manifold
I'd say that your CNC manifold is an LTH version. I've had some manifold and rubber combinations where the holes didn't quite line up making me think that the rubber might "lift" in the centre once tightened down ..... and potentially leak. The rubber with the inner elongated lip will be ...
