Re: iron barrel
You'll get overheating problems going to 175 and the seizures that go with it. You'll pick up a 150 cheaper than the cost of boring the 125 to 150 anyway. I'm sure there'll be plenty of freebies knocking about for P&P money.

Re: motorcycle style grips
The MBD ones are very nice but they're about £30 a set. The trouble with the bike ends is that they're the wrong size, they're too small so need adapting to get them to stay put. You can get some grips that are both the same size, about 1" but in the main most bikes use 2 different sized grips...

Re: rear bearing flange studs
Same for me, I've done a few new SIL engines of late and all like that. I'm guessing at either the holes in the casing are off line or the holes in the plate which pulls the studs when tightened. Are Italian ones the same?

Re: Which BGM?
I notice the above pictured one doesn't say Made in Italy on it. The (new) Ducati one I have has MADE IN ITALY embossed into the section above "BREVETTATO", but is only rated to 14Ar ms.

The best Honda 50 ever...
OK, it's not a scooter but I love it all the same http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y238/vr6yorks/DSCF0693.jpg I saw this at a racing event at 3 sisters race track earlier this year (it wasn't racing, just parked up in the car park). From what I gathered it's only a single cylinder with one of the ex...

The breathing sweet one, I don't think the others fit over the carb mouth. Only noticed one on Cam Lam but think LTH do 2 sizes.

Re: TS1 with TMX30
I'm thinking that the Cam Lam one is the one likely to fit.
Hmmm, just remembered that I've got a Koso 34 that comes complete with the plate, I'll measure that up when I'm over in Blackpool. I'll still need an LTH inlet though.
