Re: PX200 Standard Piaggio barrel - 27.75 bhp
It is fairly nice bobbing around town and use of pipes calms the kick up the arse (I have been playing around today on it). Has been bugging me that since Thursday's dyno it didn't make 30 so plan is to strip engine on boxing day and make some mods. Also because of one of the comments, to do a simil...

Is it a HB stage 4 too end? :) No it is not a HB. It does rev on a bit more as well Dan, I didn't put it up but we tried a race pipe also, one which I thought would suit best but it is for a different engine and it lost some power: http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii119/antonyvespa/tonyxxx.jpg

Its likely the landscape of the graph, factory would peak circa 9 at around 6k from experience of friends who have dynoed.ArmandTanzarian wrote:If I'm reading that right then it must be nigh on unrideable. It has less power than a standard factory P2 until it reaches more than 6000rpm.

PX200 Standard Piaggio barrel - 27.75 bhp
200 barrel, not the BGM one. Standard barrel, piston and head; jacked up a bit, skimmed and ported, no welding. JL pipe, flatslide carb, variable ignition. Just done for a bit of fun! http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii119/antonyvespa/tonystan.jpg http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii119/antonyves...

Silly hobby but I'm just working on nipped up barrels I get off Ebay for a tenner.
Malossi 166 nearly finished but I want to do a Polini over winter, if someone has one to donate it would be appreciated, or any other scrap cylinder also.

Pinasco 213 tune - 35.45hp dyno
Did this one as well but ran out of time and just the one run, not been on the road yet so needs jetting hence the glitch. Road tune, JL pipe, reed, vespatronic, blank head milled by Martin Cook with centre plug and toroidal shape which we've not done before. Standard Asso piston with dykes. Barrel ...
