Round or pear shaped horncast grill?

Is there anyway I can tell what horncast my S2 was orginally meant to have? Its a 1960 model but someone's hacked the bottom off the horncast.

Cheers

Re: Lambretta Tool box lock rivets

Check your lock actually lines up - I bought a cheap one off eBay and it didn't even line up. Ended up buying a Casa one and the tool which combined wasn't cheap but it all fits and looks good.

Where are you Mr Sheen?

S2 backplate

I replaced the weak front hub backplate on my S2 after reading a few horror stories on various forums. I ordered an Innocenti one that looks like it may have come from a GP (I assume because it was painted original bright orange) or maybe a S3. I got it repainted and fitted the brake shoes but I can...

Re: Carb dunce

Aren't plug chops where you kill the engine at various speeds/ throttle ranges and then whip out the plug to see what colour it is/ whether it's running rich or lean. Eg. You would ride around the block at a fairly constant mid throttle, kill the engine whilst still running, roll to a stop, pull out...

Re: Exhaust query

I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that 125/150 are the same and 175 are different internally? I may be wrong as I do drink a lot.

What about the down pipe etc? Cheers
