This looked good before..........but you have done it justice I especially like the frame tube, tank and forks being sprayed what looks like a greyish black (might just be my PC) it goes well against seat etc...........well done

The cable is brand new had it a while though........ On closer inspection as I found a old series3 cable I do have the correct cable and when I use a drill to turn the cable a strange noise as if something is catching can be heard from the speedo therefore I think its the speedo...........Thanks for...

The speedo has 26000 miles on it this made me think it was the early type.
Might sound a daft question but can I just use the same outer and buy a series 3 inner to see if it fits ?

Following on from another thread I have discovered the problem of why my speedo on my LI150 Series 2 behaves eratically this is because the top of the inner cable is to thin for were it connects into the speedo. Got no intention of replacing the speedo 
want to keep most of original parts. I didnt think it was the actual speedo but now you have said it could be and a refurb would be my choice I just wondered if it could be a cable prob

I have a Series 2 LI150 which for now is a rusturation Having refurbed the engine on trying it out up and down my road the speedo is eratic what I mean by this is that it bounces up and down from 0 to 70-80 km continuosly.
