Had to drop engine out cus base gasket was leaking. Got a new one from SR, but it doesn't have as much meat on it to trim to match ported casings and cylinder as the old one. Feck!! So just tried a dry fit with head gasket and get a 1.2mm squish without the base gasket . Have Hylomar, HT silicone se...

Any benefits? Thought I saw a thread on this but cannot find it so sorry to post again. Less inertia?? Less strain on chain ?? I know racers do this, but is just weight loss or other benefits?

Syd, the drawing I posted is the only one I have which I nicked off someone else. There must be someone with the rest of the dimensions. By the way, the wording is in Italian, but the numbers are in English

Blob of Blu Tack stuck on the end of a straightened out wire coat hanger does it for me, then tye rap underneath it.

Don't know if this helps. It's the only photo I've got which was pinched off someone else. Would be nice to have full frame dimensions
